Lead

Did you know that the ancient Romans used
lead to make cookware, water pipes, wine
jugs, coins and so much more?

Lead is a heavy metal that is denser than most common materials. It is soft and malleable. When freshly cut, lead is silvery with a hint of blue; it tarnishes to a dull grey color when exposed to air.
