Known Copper resources are estimated at 3 billion
tonnes of which only 12% have been mined throughout
history... and nearly all of that is still in circulation today,
because Copper’s recycling rate is higher than that of
any other engineered metal.
Copper is a soft, malleable and ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. A freshly exposed surface of pure copper has a pinkish-orange color.
